Hollow Illusion - Norwegian Metal hailing from Stange.

 

Hollow Illusion is a duo rock band, from Stange,in Norway.
The line up consists of Magnus Mikkelsen Hoel- ( Lead vocals and Drums) and Ove Mikkelsen Hoel (Bass and Backing Vocals).

Crafting a sound that takes influence from bands like Metallica, Black Sabbath and Thin Lizzy. Hollow Illusion released their debut album the 12th of February of 2016 ,entitled 'Hollow Illusion'. 
The record is produced and engineered by Trond Hotler (Dream Police, Wig Wam, and Jorn). 
The record is mixed by Roy Z ( Judas Priest, Halford, Bruce Dickinson) in New York, USA, and mastered by Andy Horn in Ahorn-Berolzheim ,Germany.

Hollow Illusion is praised with enthusiastic live performances, and the band will take their debut album on a world tour in 2016-2019.

 

Hollow Illusion are  finished with their second album called Hollow Illusion 2.. It was  recorded   , mixed at Studio Studio Nyhagen ,  Toten Norway with Ronni Le Tekro  (TNT ),  Kjartan Hestehagen in March of 2019 ,  and the mastering done with Tommy Hansen at Jailhouse Studios  , Denmark. in April 2019. 

 

Hollow Illusion  relase their second album 14.08.2020. 

Our first single from their new album   was release on 12th of May called Stronger  , and our second  single Good Times Shining  16th of July ,  and out third single Wheels on Fire 16th of August :

Now has Hollow Illusion done recording for their third album i the period of September- November 2022 at Studio Studio Nyhagen with Ronni Le Tekro ( TNT), Kjartan Hestehagen , and Tim Scott Mcconell ( The Havelinas, Ledfoot)  

 

Their style has been more in a pop rock style and their inspirastion for this new album is : Ramones, ABBA, Thin Lizzy, TNT, The Beatles, Evrley Brothers, Roxette, Europe, Stage Dolls, Return, Black Sabbath, Faith No More,  Aerosmith, Rory Gallagher , Green Day, Foo Fighters etc.

 

Mastering  is done by Winter Lazarus  from USA in Studio Mohlenpris in Bergen Norway .   He was worked with artists and bands such as Michael Jackson,  Tom Waites,   Pink Floyd , and movie actors like Clint Eastwood and Bruce Willis. 

 

Hollow Illusion will release their  third album   Invisible  will be released   13th of May  in 2023 at Hollow Illusion Records with digerdistro.no  on CD's ,  and with :  www.dicentia.no on vinyl records    in Oslo Norway

 Singels for the album will be released :   I Can't Forget You 28th of February in 2023 , and  Burning Up 20th of March  in 2023  .

Hollow Illusion will  be on tour in 2023-  2024   in Scandivavia ,  Europe,  UK ,  and hopefully in United States.   Upcoming shows  will be posted very soon.
