Hollow Illusion - Norwegian Metal kommer fra Stange.

 

Hollow Illusion er et duorockband, fra Stange, i Norge.
Besetningen består av Magnus Mikkelsen Hoel- (vokal og trommer) og Ove Mikkelsen Hoel (bass og backing vokal).

Å lage et sound som henter inspirasjon fra band som Metallica, Black Sabbath og Thin Lizzy. Hollow Illusion ga ut sitt debutalbum 12. februar 2016, med tittelen 'Hollow Illusion'.
Platen er produsert og konstruert av Trond Hotler (Dream Police, Wig Wam og Jorn).
Platen er mikset av Roy Z (Judas Priest, Halford, Bruce Dickinson) i New York, USA, og mastret av Andy Horn i Ahorn-Berolzheim, Tyskland.

Hollow Illusion hylles med entusiastiske liveopptredener, og bandet tar med seg debutalbumet på verdensturné i 2016-2019.

 

Hollow Illusion are  finished with their second album called Hollow Illusion 2.. It was  recorded   , mixed at Studio Studio Nyhagen ,  Toten Norway with Ronni Le Tekro  (TNT ),  Kjartan Hestehagen in March of 2019 ,  and the mastering done with Tommy Hansen at Jailhouse Studios  , Denmark. in April 2019. 

 

Hollow Illusion  relase their second album 14.08.2020. 

Our first single from their new album   was release on 12th of May called Stronger  , and our second  single Good Times Shining  16th of July ,  and out third single Wheels on Fire 16th of August :

Now has Hollow Illusion done recording for their third album i the period of September- November 2022 at Studio Studio Nyhagen with Ronni Le Tekro ( TNT), Kjartan Hestehagen , and Tim Scott Mcconell ( The Havelinas, Ledfoot)  

 

Their style has been more in a pop rock style and their inspirastion for this new album is : Ramones, ABBA, Thin Lizzy,  The Beatles, Evrley Brothers, Roxette, Europe,  Black Sabbath, Faith No More,  Aerosmith, Rory Gallagher , Green Day, Foo Fighters etc.

 

Mastering  is done by Winter Lazarus  from USA in Studio Mohlenpris in Bergen Norway .   He was worked with artists and bands such as Michael Jackson,  Tom Waites,   Pink Floyd , and movie actors like Clint Eastwood and Bruce Willis. 

 

Hollow Illusion will released their  third album   Invisible    13th of May  in 2023 at Hollow Illusion Records with digerdistro.no  on CD's ,  and with :  www.dicentia.no on vinyl records    in Oslo Norway

Hollow Illusion will  be on tour in 2023-  2024   in Scandivavia ,  Europe,  UK ,  and hopefully in United States.   Upcoming shows  will be posted very soon.
